Expectations (1977)

My dear friend Lynn, it has now been over two months since I have closed my apartment and dropped out of my old lifestyle.

I know, as my close friend, you have been concerned about my absence.

So I am writing you this letter to explain what has happened to my life in these last two months.

Though I'm not quite sure I understand myself.

As you know, five years of my marriage were a total waste.
